I just did a refresh on a 1.3 million hand database without a single hang using v3.07.1 Beta.

Are you still seeing this behavior with v3.06 (or later)?

Yep. I've got 3.7.1 too. If you click another players name then click the mine button it refreshes very quickly but if you use the refresh button the player list disappears and the app beach balls for a couple minutes and my db is probably like 500k hands. Same thing happens when you apply filters and stuff. WhiteRider asked for a new log this morning but apparently the regular log isn't getting written on my computer although the hud one is.

The only good thing I can say is that it used to take upwards of 5mins to refresh and its down to about 2 now. I'd be happy to try and set up a screen share via iChat sometime if that would help.

We definitely need logs to track this down. Once you can add the new logs will follow up in your ticket since its easier to keep track of that way. Thanks.

Gonna have to go ahead and agree with the last post. The hang-ups and crashes happen probably twice to three times a day on my machine (MacBook Pro 2.53 Ghz). I even tried wiping the thing clean and reinstalling OS X (sounds like something someone would do with Windows, I know), but to no avail. Still hangs and crashes regularly.

The most annoying part of the hanging is that it doesn't just affect PT3. PT3 hanging EATS your resources, to the point where the entire system hangs. Like, mouse pointer wont move for a good 15-20 seconds. This would be fine and dandy (actually, no it wouldn't), but we're using this program to play poker. Incredibly frustrating when you have a big hand and some donk pushes his whole stack at you, you're spinning in your chair waiting to click call with those quads, and oh wait, your system is hanging, and you get to watch helplessly while you time out, and your quads are folded, and another buy-in slips away.

Kraada - you're a joker bud. You haven't responded in any meaningful way to any of my posts on any of these message boards to deal with any of these problems. I hear the boys over at HEM (which is by all accounts a far superior program) are working on a Mac version. Get ready for a mass exodus. It's coming. HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANG!

We have thousands of Mac users and very, very few of them experience any problems at all.

This is your forth post on this forum. All your concerns were addressed adequately. Your problems are most likely caused by an abundance of hand history files in the poker site's hand history directory. You were instructed on how to solve this problem. If you need more details on how to resolve your problem, then please let our support technicians know.

Your problems have been addressed and PT3 for the Mac is very much functional. I must ask that you please stop spamming in your posts.
