Have you got the Auto-Tournament Detect options turned on on the import tabs?
Did you click Refresh on the Tournaments tab?
Detection doesn't happen instantly, so wait a few minutes after your tournament ends.

If it is still not working please attach a few example hand history file examples to a Support ticket along with your PokerTracker.log file from a short session.

Played a couple new ones, and the "Finish" stat for new games is indeed correct. I assumed the upgrade would correct that stat form all tourneys played so far, but apparantly it doesn't. Any way to make PT do this?

You can force the tournament detect via the Tournaments > Enter Results window. Select the tournaments you want to be updated using shift-click or control-click.
I'd suggest trying a few tournaments one at a time first - the detection is new and although it has been tested there may be problems with it in some cases.
You might want to make a Backup of your database for safety (if you don't already do that). I wouldn't expect any major problems, but it's always a good idea to have a recent backup.
