making a player a buddy for tournaments

Why can't I make a player a buddy when I'm looking at stats in the general tab for tournaments, but I can while I'm looking at the cash games?

So development team, any word on whether this is possible / why it's not? Would be a nice feature. If there's someone who I regularly crush at tourneys, I'd love to make them a buddy and sit down with them at a cash game table. :twisted:
