Can i retrive free trial stats when i purchase full product?

Postby guvnorious » Thu Apr 01, 2010 6:20 pm

Hi guys,

i had the 60day free trial and was very impressed with PT3. I'm now looking to buy the product but will i still have all the stats i gained on other players and myself during the trial period?

I am curious about this too. Also, can my 200,000 hands in 2.17.04 be moved into PT3? And will the stats and hands from that PT apply to the new PT3 including stats displayed on table and so forth?

Registering PT3 doesn't change your database, it just unlocks the rest of the program features.

From the FAQ viewtopic.php?f=45&t=4095
What restrictions does the trial version have?
The main restriction is that you can only use one new, automatically created database. The size of this database is not restricted so you can import all your previous hands from their hand histories to fully test PT3.
Once you register PT3 you will be able to access the database you created in the trial version and continue to use it seamlessly, but with the option to then create more databases as well.
You cannot use Custom Statistics.
You will also get a lag screen at startup and shutdown (of PT3).

Yes, you can convert PT2 databases to PT3 ones inside of the PT3 client provided that you have already converted them to postgresql. If you are still using a microsoft access database then you will have to follow the procedure in this FAQ first viewtopic.php?f=45&t=5253.

One other Full Version only feature is the backup/restore functions - but otherwise vic is correct on all counts.
