Paid rake different to actual figures

Postby Plaza Player » Thu May 06, 2010 11:05 am

Hi ( again )
I have been set up with a 45% rakeback deal, and after playing for half of April I asked the poker site for actual Rake I paid during this time and too see if its the same on the PT3.
I recently posted about my figures being in $ because I am on the Boss network and Its played in € and I was told that in the next build its planned to change this to €.
However back to the point. I have just received there figures, and they are out. There saying I paid €82.27 for April but PT3 says I paid €92.73.
For May PT3 says I paid €14.06 and there saying its €13. With that I dont mean MGR. Its my rake which is the figure which should be a true reflection on what I paid.

So although the figures are in $ I take it there still going to be the same if the figures were in €?

If so is there a way to change or work out, so I get an exact figure to both PT3 and there figure?

Thanks

Were all of the tables that you played in Euros?
If you play some tables in € and some in $ then the results are not going to match because PT3 records everything as a single currency (there are some basic currency conversion stats in v3.07, but they don't affect Rake yet).

Do you play any jackpot tables at all?
Jackpot rake is included in PT3 because it is still money taken out of the pot.

Another possible difference is that full rake from split pots is assigned to all "winners", so this can mean that your personal rake is recorded a little high. This does not affect the amount won, only the rake stat, and is in our system to be fixed.

Yes all tables I played were €. I knew If on the odd time I did switch, then yes the figures would be out, which is why I kept playing on the € tables.

No, all tables were the same limits. I am doing a €0 to €10k challenge so I will not differ for sometime to come yet. Which is 5c/10c cash tables.

So I guess its the splitting of pots which is causing the difference. So can be fixed, or is it going to be fixed?

Sorry after reading you reply for 5th time, Its going to be fixed by yourselves I understand now.

As I understand it PT3 records the rake correctly, but it records it for the hand not for each player specifically, and this is not taken into account in the Rake stat.
This is in our bug tracker to be fixed, but I don't know when it will be done.
