Date/Time Anomoly?

I'm in the process of converting from HM to PT3, so be gently with me.

I thought I had everything set up in PT3 pretty well... had PS and FTP configured well, developed a couple of HUD profiles I liked, played with reports (omg, brilliant!!) and generally had fun. Also decided to go back to Ultimate Bet and tool around for a while. Played for about 30 minutes, HUD worked great, PT3 showed hands being imported, but my winnings graph for 'Today" never moved.

After trying to fix this prob myself (removed all alliases etc, allowed cache to rebuild, took my cat for a walk) I still couldn't see any current UB data... there was UB data from a couple of months ago, but I want to see today's stuff. Eventually, I removed a small filter I had set (date = today) so that all data was displayed... and there was my new UB data, for tomorrow!

Now I know I'm pretty good, but being able to play in the future (and win I might add) is not a talent I have as yet developed. Here's a couple of screenshots:

The specs of my system are:
Ubuntu 8.04LTS Host running Postgres 8.3.11
Virtualbox 8.1.3 with Additions
Win XP Sp2 Guest with PT3 v3.07.1Beta , poker clients and ODBC

Obvious question... how do I fix the date/import problem. Only affects UB, not FTP or PS.

UB write the times in their hand history files as your local time but label them as ET (Eastern Time, US) so PT3 "corrects" them.
I'd suggest you send a polite email to UB support asking them to fix this - if enough people complain they might actually do something about it.
We have this in our system to be worked around, but the danger is that we "fix" this in PT3 and then the bug in the Cereus software gets fixed and PT3 is then wrong, so it would really be better if the underlying bug was fixed in the first place.

Hello Support!

I have this problem, too. I play UltimateB. They sent this hand history:

For examle:
Stage #C30994499: Holdem No Limit $0.10 - 2010-06-01 15:17:54 (ET)
Table: CARY (Real Money) Seat #2 is the dealer

But this time CET time! I spoke a UB support, he spoke me: I write a PT Support!
PT use this time as CET time, so in program use 21:17:54 !
How can I make a real time?

As WhiteRider said, they are labeling hand histories improperly as eastern time (ET) when they are not ET times. UB will need to correct this error in the hand history writing portion of their software, and then the times will be imported properly into PT3.

Seeing as how I played that hand at 14:59 my time (and I'm 12 hours offset from the UB server) it would appear UB is no longer using my (our) computer system time as the time reference. Yippie-kai-yay mofo!

Thanks for the info, although it doesn't look as if Absolute Poker has the fix yet - I just tried it and the software downloaded an update but the times are still being written as local time but labelled ET. Hopefully AP will get the fix soon too. :(

I don't believe it, UB has reverted to using local time with the ET tag again!
