Will stopping my import from directory corrupt my database?

I just formatted my computer and adding back my data for PT3. I'm currently doing the "import from directory".

If I click "Stop", will it corrupt anything in my database and also will the process continue from where it left off?

The estimated time left is 36 hours left...and it's been 4 hours already...I don't want my computer to overheat, I want to stop it and continue importing tomorrow.

If you want to restart later you'll want to use Pause not Stop. Pause expects to restart later. Stop just ends the process. You could then import from the same directory again later but PT3 would need to go through everything it already went through this time which would end up just taking more time and making your computer work harder.

Either way though your data will be fine and not corrupted no matter which option you choose. We do everything we can to keep the database from being corrupted.
