Step Tournaments

I've been importing my summaries using a script. However, when I look at my tournaments in PT3, it tends to misread step tournaments. How do i fix this? It shows the buyin for the step tournament (for instance step 5 is 700), and when i placed 2nd (which advances u to step 6) PT3 counts it as a loss of $700. Also, when i made it to step 6 from step 1, it recorded the step 6 as a buyin of 2100 (as this is what it wud cost to directly buy in). is there any way of fixing this?

What you want to do is input your winnings properly - see the Tournaments FAQ. Some of this will be automated more in the next beta release. But when you put in your winnings your net results will add up properly (if you win a step 6 then you won 2100 in the step 5, and thus the 2100 cost of the step 6 is offset, etc).
