merge and sportsbook

I had merge ,sporstsbook software installed,before i deleted it with other problems.I had problems with vista,pt3, administator vs standard,and nortons and I followed some directions from forum and moderators.I had to install ,uninstall ,switch users on my computer,get new norton 360,turn off user account control, which windows doesnt seem to like but pt3 is working so far with PS and Ill check it out soon with bogog,UB, and Cake,which im nervous about cake and UB but it configured correctly after all that work.Now im not allowed to install any merge sites.Norton seems to isolate these downloads and I cant figure out how to get around the problem.Possibly I dont want to Im asking?Ive learned to compete by working many sitesand pt3 software is great help in short time.I minimize my time on PS and dont play full tilt.IVE had poor support on FT.Ive felt with prevoious activities in last few years people have learned my patterns in 5 minutes and it takes me weeks.PS has excellent tourneys vip satelites me into tourneys and i play about 1000 dollars of tourneys free on sunday.The cash tables are my thing its hard to compete without your software.If you could figure out why I cant download merge let me know,thanks. post script.Im new pt3 user and believe it I fixed many leaks in my game from studying random players on freinds pt3.Hard to believe but i read 200 poker books and thought software was just a scam,boy was i wrong.It can be abused I understand,3rd party datamining but I had no idea the things I could learn until I studied pt3 random players for a month or two.I expect to make great improvement this next year micromanaging my own game.

As far as we are aware, Cake and Cereus should be working properly - is your problem with those pieces of software getting them installed or getting them configured for PT3?

sorry for poor communication.To get pt3 to work,I had to make some moves.Uninstall,amd reinstall software.change user from standard to administator,patch updated with windows vista,turn off user account control,and update new nortons after uninstall and reinstall.True correct cake,and cerus have finally configured corect.Things seem to be in order,thanks to your forum.I had merge installed on a different user,standard.I uninstalled merge ,sportsbook poker.When I went to reinstall merge with proper user ..administrator,my nortons isolates,and will not allow install.Should I send question to merge?I know you guys are more qualified.Also,now that things are working so far,ive only used PS,but cake and cerus configured easily and coresct for first time.Should I leave User account control...turned off,,or would it be OK to turn it back on now?Im scared everything will turn to problems again if i MAKE A MISTAKE.Thank tou very much.

Have a look at our Firewall Guide - Norton is known to cause issues, but if you have problems installing the Merge software then you'll need to contact them (or Norton).

You can re-enable UAC if you like, but you need to run PT3 and all of your poker sites as Administrator every time.
