Help: unauthorized payment on my credit card

Postby sun1231234 » Mon Dec 13, 2010 5:12 pm

The date I purchased was November 6th 2010 for $89.99 USD. On December 6th 2010, I was charged for some kind of pokertracker software - "POKERTRACKER SOFTWARE. ###-###-#### PA 14.99 USD 15.52". I am sure I did not choose anything else besides the 89.99 pokertracker 3 software when I purchased it in November. The only thing I can think of that is charging me is the tabletracker thing, which I have not used at all and know that I did not choose to purchase it. Please sort this out and let me know what is going on. Thx.

At the time of purchase if you opted in to the free month of TableTracker you are automatically subscribed to begin monthly payments when the month runs out. This was stated clearly at the time you signed up. You should further have received a notification 3 days in advance of being charged so that you could cancel should you have desired to do so.

That said, if you create a support ticket for this issue we will make sure that your subscription is canceled and we will look into getting your payment refunded.

Thank you for the quick response. I don't really remember, but i guess i probably took the trial before but i thought it was gonna start charging after the 25 free table tracker searches so didn't cancel right away. No email notification was received 3 days prior to the autorenewal subscription or anytime since i purchased. I will take your suggestion and create a support ticket about this. Thx

Please make sure to mention in your ticket that you did not receive the notification before the first charge was executed - if there is something wrong with our notification script, we definitely will want to get that fixed.

Then please do the same as well and if you're using any anti-spam software please do check to make sure the notification was not inadvertently flagged as spam (and if it was, please tell us what anti-spam provider you are using).

I opened a ticket on January 3, two days after the first $14.99 charge.

I did not sign up for table tracker, and did not receive an e mail notification about monthly charges.

The ticket has never been responded to and I've followed up with several e mails.

Support Ticket #102946

Can someone please look at this and refund my card? I am beyond frustrated by the lack of customer service. I would like to use the software, but not with recurring charges and no explanation or response.

I don't know why you didn't have a reply to your ticket, but I will make sure the person in charge sees it. Apologies for the confusion.
