How is this possible?

Postby hoopla65 » Sat Feb 12, 2011 4:06 pm

My heads up sng roi is -6.75 but when I look at total chips lost/gained it is positive (+68,000 over 37.5k hands).

Are your total results entirely accurate? If there was a tournament where you had improper results stored in the database, that would cause this sort of result. If the results aren't accurate, you can fix them via the Tournaments --> Enter Holdem (or Omaha) Results section.

Did every tournament have the same structure?
If you won some tournaments where you started with more chips and lost some where you started with less it could work out like that.

Yes. These were exclusively heads up sngs.

Additionally, over my last 1500 hands pt says I am down $2755 whereas sharkscope actually has me up a little over $500.

There are a few tournaments needing results, but not enough to account for the discrepencies. When tournaments do not have results are they counted as losses or just disregarded?

Yes, but did you start every one with the same amount of chips?

That depends on what information is in the files that you imported. Mostly the buy-in and fee would be recorded, but if the summary information isn't available then it would count as a loss.

I have entered all the tournaments needing results and I am still seeing errors all over the place. The DB has me as a $1k+ loser over about 1100 tournaments whereas sharkscope has me as a slight winner.

On the player summary section I somehow have 3 third place finishes in 2max mtts (the DB calls them mtts but they are really just 2 max sngs).

When I click on the tournaments>tournaments tab under tournaments by time it says I have 133 sessions but only 27 total tournaments. WTF?

I'm sure there are other errors--I've only spent about 30 minutes looking over the DB.

What could possibly be the problem?

Are these 2 player SNGs or 2-max SNGs with multiple players?
Can you attach an example hand history (and summary if you have it) file for one which is imported incorrectly to a Support ticket so that we can check it out?

In fact, can you compress and attach a batch of your tournament hand history and summary files to a Support ticket - it does sound like something isn't being imported correctly so it would be useful to be able to see the results ourselves.
Please include a link to this thread in your ticket.

I sent the support ticket (over 6 hours ago) and am awaiting a reply.
