how can i get it to say 2.5k instead of 2,500

You want the custom statistic "Hands in k notation" which you can find in the repository.

The cash version is called "Cash hands with k notation" and was uploaded by WhiteRider. The tournament version is called "Tournament hands with k notation" and was also uploaded by WhiteRider.

That's because it's a Statistic not a Report. Click on the Statistics tab then search and you'll find it.
