Merge bad beat rake stat update

Postby GoretexG » Thu May 19, 2011 8:54 am

Is there a stat which removes the extra bad beat rake from the "rake" or "mgr" stats? Id like to have an accurate log of my rake so that I can see how much rakeback I will be generating, but it automatically adds the BBJ rake which is not considered for rakeback.

Not all tables are BBJ.

Is there a set rule for how much BBJ rake is calculated? We could build a stat that subtracts it on the fly, but it wouldn't really be possible to pinpoint it to only BBJ tables. Unfortunately this rake is calculated as normal rake in the database.

there has to be a set rule because they cant just randomly take rake on BBJ tables :P

The bad beat tabgles also have Bad Beat in their table name, so that opens up opportunities to pinpoint which tables are BBJ and which arent?

I am interested in this as well. But in the meantime, how do I get the regular rakeback stat?

That would help yes - but I don't have the rule that they use to calculate when and how much BBJ rake to take from the pot. Do you have a link to the method they use for calculating this?

nurssbetty: That depends on how your rakeback is calculated - do you know if it's using dealt or contributed rake?

If it's dealt you can multiply the MGR stat by the percentage you get and that should be your rakeback (providing you don't have any other deductions). If you want to see it directly as calculated you can duplicate the MGR stat and do the multiplication in your new stat's value expression and it should work properly (just change the name and format tab as you want and add the stat to your report).

Ok in that case you can get the amt_weighted_contributed_rake column by importing the stats in this thread.
