import hands query

Postby MoniesRemovalPLC » Mon Jun 06, 2011 1:57 pm

i have followed the tutorials regarding setting up a processed hands folder exclusive from HH folders used by PT3 for import, however, every time i take a break from playing when i restart import i always get a bunch of duplicate hands found by PT3 - usually just the hands from the previous sesh, is this normal or should they be clearing every time i stop my import??

If you let the duplicates finish, then stop the auto import and start it again, are they gone or are they processed a second time?

Then things are definitely not being moved properly - make certain you are running PT3 as Administrator and that you've followed all of the steps in the Tutorial: Preventing Duplicates.

yh i have certainly got the processed fold completely seperate from all HH import folders although they both are in the same hard drive (i cant see that makes a difference though) - heres a screenshot of my PT3 user permissions - does this seem ok to you ?

That's not what I mean by running as Administrator - try starting PT3 by right clicking the link and clicking Run As Administrator in the right click menu and see if that makes a difference. That sort of running as administrator is different than having a user with administrator access run the program. See here for more on running programs as administrator.
