pahud not detecting any prima tables

Postby rubbed » Fri Mar 28, 2008 4:36 pm

on ladbrokes, pahud will not detect any tables.

i have selected the right folder (it was working fine before) in pa hud.

deleted the hh file in prima folder via PT

removed all filters

made sure the right database is selected in pahud

nothing works, after working fine for 2 or so years it just doesnt work anymore.

pt is importing hands fine.

i have the latest beta of pahud installed and Pokertracker 2.

Nothing has changed to my knowledge with Ladbroke's observed hand histories.

Enable logging, open Ladbrokes, observe a single table for 30+ hands then send me the PAHud.log file via the [url=http://www.pokertracker3.com/support/izz]Support system[/urlizz] so that I can look into and resolve the issue.

I'm having the same problem at PokerHost. The system crashed on Wednesday, I think between 8 am mst and 2 pm MST. I was data-mining at the time, and when I came back to the system, it had an error message that read, I think "Prima.ladbrook stats are not available to PokerAce Hud" - or something to that effect.
Since then, the system only displays players stats up to the time of the crash. They have not been updtaed since. However, the PT stats are current. Obviously, the 2 no longer match.
I'm unsure whether the system is displaying the proper stats for new players - I dont think so, but I'll double-check.
The system will not display my stats either - says they're N/A even after I play 500 hands
However, the table stats seem to be updating properly to the extent that stats are not related to players - e.g.. avg pot. They also adjust when players enter or leave the game e.g. avg VPIP and PFR%.
Anyway - I'm pretty sure about the date that the system crashed. If it will be of help to you, it will take some time, but I can probably pin down the time of day pretty closely.

It seems like the tables that are minimized aren't beeing detected but the ones showing on the screen are found.

I figured that my problem was due to operator error - and it was. When I upgraded from beta 19.5 to 19.6, I decided it would be prudent to create a new PT Database, which I did. I imported several hands into the new DB successfully, the display looked fine, so I left the machine on for several hours of data-mining - only to come back to the message that PokerAce Hud could not find the Prima hand histories. But that didn't make any sense because the PT auto-import was configured properly, as was the PAHud Preference - Poker site- Prima/ladbrokes. However, I didn't think to also look at the Preferences - Databases - Hold'em file - and therein was the problem. Although PokerAce automatically found the new PT Prima DB all right, it didn't automatically include it in the PokerAce HUD Prima stats- you have to manually tell the system to do that. Duh! Works perfectly now (just dont minimize tables).

Ok, I am glad you were able to resolve the problem on your own :)

the problem was in fact that the ladbrokes tables were all minimized when i was datamining, and pahud doesn't detect them unless they are on the background.

anyway to fix this? having 12 windows open is really annoying and messy when i'm trying to do other stuff, and the sound is horrible as there is 12 tables making noise at once if im only playing on a table or 2...

so, can tables no longer be minimized at all or is it a bug

Yes, this is a known bug but it should not really affect anything. Once you maximize the tables, PokerAce Hud should recognize them within a hand or two and display stats.

I am not sure what you mean about the sound. Turn the Prima sound off? This has nothing to do with PAH... In every poker client, whether you are using PAH or not, if you have twelve tables open sounds are going to come from every table.
