Postgres database error

Postby ilkke » Mon Aug 03, 2009 2:01 pm

When trying to compress my database I get:

The error was:
7 - SQLSTATE = 58P01
could not access status of transaction 6553714
could not open file "pg_clog/0006": no such file or directory.

Backuping the database also gives the same error

Not sure if this is related but a while ago I had one session strangely screwed up in my database, it had river AF showing some 5 or 6 digit value and it also messed my river AF for all sessions to some insane number. I just purged that session and it seemed to fix the problem. After that I havent tried compressing the database until now.

I'm not sure what would cause this. You can try reindexing all the tables using pgAdmin as detailed here:
http://www.pokertracker3.com/forums/arc ... ex+pgadmin

If that doesn't work, when was the last time you backed up the db before you started getting these errors?

Other tables had no problems but reindexing the "game_players" table gave me the same error as above.

My latest backup is dated March 17th, errors occured last month..
