Trouble Adding Custom Stats

(To be absolutely clear - it is not the stats which are cached, it is the columns, so if you build a custom stat from built-in columns then that will use cached data, but a custom stat using custom columns will not.)

I'm having a hard time grasping the distinction.

For CB OOP, if I add a stipulation for only HU pot (that seems to be a built-in column?) would that be cached? I would take the standard CB OOP stat and just add the HU part.

If you add a new "Column", which it sounds like you are doing, that will not be cached.

Are there any plans to change that? I have said it before, but the custom stats is what truly separated PT3 from everyone else :(

A compromise would be to add more options to in the drop down when configuring your HUD (we can add positions to preflop stats and whether we are in or out of position for postflop stats)

Having the option to choose the following would go a long way:

(1) In or out of position preflop (in addition to our exact position)

(2) HU or multi way postflop

(3) Single raised pot or 3B+ pot postflop

(4) Shooting for the stars on this one, but the position of villain preflop, if I raise UTG and face a 3B from villain in the CO, I would like the option to choose CO for villain (so i can know how often he 3B when he is in the CO vs a UTG raise)

In and Out of position Preflop won't be able to be done as a general setting because it's going to function differently for different stats. For example, Fold to Preflop 3Bet After Raise In Position - here we want to be in position vs whoever made the 3bet. However if we wanted 3Bet Preflop In Position we would want it to be vs whoever made the 2Bet.

Since the relative position of the player we want to be in position against changes from stat to stat a general property won't work.

(2) and (3) are certainly valid - and good - requests.

I'm a little confused about (4) - could you please elaborate more here for me? In your example, how is it different than having the right element in a chart in a popup that shows how often someone 3bets in all positions vs all other positions? That chart can already be built with the available data in PT4.
