NoteTracker. Auto notes appearing

Postby Alex_AKJ » Fri Dec 16, 2011 12:57 pm

NoteTracker is amazing feauture! I am going to create a lot of auto note rules. But instead of to show all of created auto notes in one note icon popup maybe you guys give us the possibility to add them to hud popup by groups. I mean it would great to add preflop auto notes to preflop hud popup, flop auto notes to flop hud popup and so on.

Thanks for the suggestion!

We agree that exactly how to organize NoteTracker notes is a tricky thing - especially since you can configure it to show you a ton of data.

We did add the checkboxes on the note window to try and help you manage your NoteTracker notes, but I do like your suggestion and it's certainly something we'll keep in mind going forward.

I would like to suggest another idea. Currently auto notes inside groups are ordered by time of creation or whatever. It is better for reading notes to set sorting according to predefined order.

Example.

NoteTracker made some notes with random order and make it unusable:

[P] Call Squeeze {AA} (1)
[P] BL RWPC {QQ,T7s} (2)
[P] Steal/4Bet {AKo} (1)
[P] Flat 3Bet OOP {AA,66} (2)
[P] Squeeze from BL {99} (1)
[P] 4Bet+ NOT ATS {JJ,AKs} (2)
[P] Flat 3Bet IP {A8s,K9s} (2)
[P] 3Bet {KK,JJ,99} (4)
[P] LP RWPC {KK} (1)
[F] Raised Flop Cbet w/Overpair or less & no draw (2)
[T] Played turn draw aggressively (1)

I would like to have it like this:

[P] LP RWPC {KK} (1)
[P] BL RWPC {QQ,T7s} (2)
[P] 3Bet {KK,JJ,99} (4)
[P] Flat 3Bet OOP {AA,66} (2)
[P] Flat 3Bet IP {A8s,K9s} (2)
[P] Call Squeeze {AA} (1)
[P] Squeeze from BL {99} (1)
[P] Steal/4Bet {AKo} (1)
[P] 4Bet+ NOT ATS {JJ,AKs} (2)
[F] Raised Flop Cbet w/Overpair or less & no draw (2)
[T] Played turn draw aggressively (1)

I would like to increase the number of notes instead of clicking every time to 'Click to see addtional notes'.

Alex,

I agree with you - I want to be able to see more notes too. The "Click to see additional notes" behavior was added because too many of our alpha users found that once you had enough data on a player the tooltip became too unwieldy.

Regarding reordering - that is something we planned on revisiting, likely during the beta phase of PT4.

Either way, I'll make a note of both of these feature requests, I agree they're both good requests and I wouldn't want them to get lost.

The best solution would be if the note window would be tabbed and we could chose which note goes into which tab.
What you guys should also add is something like showing mucked cards. The difference would be that it would show the last note. This would be a great help for adjusting to opponents when one is multi tableing.
